Instructor, Simulation and Game Development
Description
Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Simulation and Game Development, the SGD Instructor is responsible for developing and teaching courses that range from game programming to game design. The instructor will implement technical solutions to support the creation of high quality creative content across multiple game and simulation platforms including console development, web and mobile development. The instructor will work with and guide individual students and student teams, providing a strong base of technical solutions related to the creation of media and digital imaging such as 2D and 3D art and animation, web and game engine software. The instructor will assist in maintaining digital media related labs on campus and related equipment. Other duties include academic advising, appointments to campus committees, and assigned duties by the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences.
