General Summary
The Texture Artist paints surface textures on animated characters, props and environments for use in a 3D color printer.
Essential Job Functions
Paints textures and develops the surface material look for characters and props working from a painted maquette.
Under the supervision of the Director of RP and direction of Head of Paint, establish and follow the look of multiple design projects simultaneously.
Partner with the modeling, rigging and puppet teams on all issues to troubleshoot creative and technical issues.
Meet schedules and deadlines as established by production management.
