Pipeline TD

Description

The Pipeline Technical Director is responsible for script creation to support production and general troubleshooting for our feature film VFX department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Scripted Tool Development, Customisation, and Support

• Creation and maintenance of new scripted tools

• Integration of tools with existing in-house tools and code base.

• Creation of documentation and tutorials for tools and integrations.

• Customisation of existing scripted tools to suit the needs of the studio, projects, and artists.

• Provide help desk assistance to production for scripted tools.

• Work with artists, leads, and supervisors to understand production workflow

• Collaborate with the Pipeline Designers, Developers, and TDs to map out and optimize workflows and tool integration.

• Research and recommend improvements to workflows to improve productivity or communication.
