Description

DisneyToon Studios is seeking a Stereographer to supervise and implement the technical and creative aspects of a stereoscopic 3D animated project. The Stereographer will work on an assigned show through the term of the a project.

This person reports to the CG Sup

Job Responsibilities:
Implement and support the pipeline, software, and hardware for the creation of stereoscopic film
Work with the Director to develop a stereoscopic script that supports the storytelling of the film
Create stereoscopic cameras in Maya for every shot in the film. These cameras should conform very closely with the stereoscopic script
Work alongside Layout, Animation, Editorial, Effects and Lighting to encourage awareness of stereoscopic opportunities and potential problems
Build stereoscopic sequence movies for Director's review
Supervise and lead a remote studio team that will be responsible for producing the final stereoscopic frames
Attend all stereoscopic reviews and be accountable for all creative notes related to stereoscopic film production
Run stereoscopic screenings and meetings
Give expert advice regarding stereoscopic technology: hardware, software, tools, and peripherals
Write stereoscopic 3D related software tools
