Training Specialist
Location: Venice, CA

Summary:
The training specialist is responsible for organizing and executing immediate and long term employee
development programs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- New hire training and orientation
- Cross training between departments/productions
- Continuing education to enhance employees' skill sets
- Participation with School Outreach Program
- Facilitation of Internship Program in partnership with artist management and recruiting
- Conduct tours of facility
- Develop various discipline curriculum and individual lesson plans
- Will often need to interface with Productions and Software department as new proprietary applications are
developed (either as plug-ins into existing applications or stand-alone) and help develop documentation as
well as prepare for training artists in their use.

These goals are accomplished by individual and classroom training sessions, coordination of informational
seminars and screenings, maintenance of a manual and reference library, and creation and upkeep of web based
tutorials and documentation.

Will often need to interface with Productions and Software department as new proprietary applications are
developed (either as plug-ins into existing applications or stand-alone) and help develop documentation as well
as prepare for training artists in their use.

The training specialist will need to get up to speed on many existing proprietary applications already being used
within the facility.
