GENERALIST - TEMP FOR 3 MONTHS

Description

We need some immediate help in our in-house visual effects department until November 12, 2010.

Our shows are live action, photo-realistic. WE ONLY WORK IN LIGHTWAVE.

Films are shot on the RED. Post is a tight 4-6 weeks, with an average of 100-150 visual effects shots per movie. Final output is 4:2:2 HD CAM SR.

We are located in Burbank, CA. You will be required to work at the Burbank office.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage multiple, simultaneous FX development projects

• Solid understanding of 3D software including particle systems, fields, expressions, scripts, soft bodies, rigid bodies, cloth dynamics, lighting, compositing, modeling, etc.

• Strong artistic vision

• Strong sense of design and composition

• Ability to multi-task on multiple shots

• Meet all deadlines.
