Interactive Designer Freelance/Temp

Description

As an Interactive Game Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing visual designs for interactive game CDs for children’s education. Experienced candidates will be expected to present a strong design portfolio showcasing user interface architecture. The right candidate is a creative thinker and a proactive self-starter with a keen understanding of visual design and technical experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and action scripting. Prior development of content rich web sites and game design is required. Animation experience a plus. Position reports to the Project Art Manager.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Ownership of projects.
• Self motivated self-starter.
• Conceptual designer.
• Track daily time logs.
• Ensure schedules are met working closely with traffic and art director.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize tasks as they are given.
• Ensure revisions are done completely and accurately.
• Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategy.
• Work closely with production artist to ensure files are properly transferred to production following the standards and requirements that are established.
• Create style guides to ensure brand consistency.
• Follow processes and procedures.
