Visual Effects Coordinator

Rodeo FX is looking for a VFX coordinator with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the film industry. This person must have very strong organizational skills and being able to communicate well.
Responsibilities:
• Bring support at all time to the vfx supervisor and producer.
• Maintain show shot list. Determine, with producer, what documents are needed for a specific show.
• Maintain shot statuses and artist targets and be able to produce show status at all time.
• Take, receive and disseminate internal and client shot notes.
• Manage flow of information and transfer of information/work between departments.
• Make sure that artists have necessary information and elements to begin work efficiently.
• Set and track targets for the week with vfx supervisor and producer. Make sure artists are clear on their targets.
• Keep a pulse on artist workload - flag producer and supervisor if artists have too much or too little work. Anticipate and raise any concerns about targets, deadlines, etc. based on daily artist activity.
• Arrange, attend, and manage meetings, turnovers, reviews with VFX Supervisor and artists, make sure that meetings are efficient and on schedule.
• Organize dailies and take notes.
• Keep artists and supervisors up to date with information – client notes, shot changes, modifications - and evaluate impact on current work. Also relay information to producer if anticipate budget or schedule implications.
