Head of Systems and Technology

Prime Focus are seeking a Head of Systems and Technology to develop their rapidly growing VFX and ViewD business in London.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up and managing a pipeline for the start up company (alongside R&D/Pipeline Lead).

• Establishing the facilities technical 'road map' and strategy and bringing the right team of people together to execute and maintain.

• Aligning the technical infrastructure of London view-D with the LA facility.

• Management of Systems, IT and research and development strategy and teams, making the most of individual strengths and retaining talent.

• Bridging the gaps between Production and Technology. Find consensus among disparate groups and getting buy-in.

• Will set the company’s research and development, systems support, networking operations, information systems, creative and production software strategies.

• Devising methods to increase efficiency and increase utilization across the facilities technical resources.

• Establishing and maintain cap-ex budgets for the London facility.

• Negotiating contracts and maintain the best price, deal and relationship with suppliers.
