Sr. Character Artist

Description

Spark is looking for a senior character artist to create first-in class content for a 3rd Person Action/Adventure title in a high-profile science fiction franchise currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC markets. As an experienced senior character artist, you will work together with the character and animation groups to create the best looking creature, human and non-organic character models to life.

Responsibilities
• Work with Art Manager to define key milestones
• Actively accepts and provides feedback to the character art team
• Ability and willingness to work with the Art Director to ensure consistency between vision and implementation of character assets
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop run-time game character procedures & pipelines
• Makes a significant, direct contribution to the creation of character art
• Expert understanding of next-gen character development processes, limitations and dependencies
• Excellent communication, time-management and organizational skills.
• Task driven, self-motivated, proactive.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Work with Outsourcing department to provide feedback and integrate assets created by external teams
• Works well under deadline.
