Character TD / Rigger
Description
Spark is looking for a seasoned Character TD/Rigger to create first-in class character setups for a 3rd Person Action/Adventure title in a high-profile science fiction franchise currently in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC markets. You will work together with the character and animation groups to create flexible solutions to bring our models to life in the game engine.
Responsibilities
• Rig, weight and setup controls and interfaces for character animation.
• Collaborate with animation and character teams to create set ups and control rigs.
• Facilitate tools for exporting rigs to the engine.
• Follow direction from technical art director as well as appropriate art/animation discipline leads.
• Help troubleshoot, diagnose and correct art related performance issues.
• Specify and develop art production tools under the guidance of the tools programmer
• Identify ways to increase efficiencies in artist workflow and production pipelines.
• Responsible for all in game character set up
