Key Purpose of the Job:

Design, write and maintain RenderMan shaders.

Needs to Do

The position of Shader Writer requires someone with a thorough knowledge of Pixar's PhotoRealistic RenderMan, with several years of experience in a similar role. Successful applicants will have solid mathematical skills, a thorough knowledge of shading algorithms, look-dev and lighting. You will interact daily with the Shading Team and your show's CG Supervisor and contribute to the extension and maintainance of the company's shading pipeline.
