Technical Animator and Scripter

Eurocom was founded in 1988 and has evolved into a world leading developer of cutting-edge console games based on high profile franchises and movies. Eurocom’s development team comprises of over 270 highly experienced and talented staff, based in Derby in the UK.
We are seeking to appoint a Technical Animator and Scripter to build, evolve and maintain all technical aspects of the in-house Maya production pipeline, developing new and intuitive tools whilst supporting current ones.
General duties:
1. Provide support and troubleshoot day-to-day production issues.
2. Help refine and develop current toolsets.
3. Develop tools and procedures that extend and enhance the current production pipeline.
4. Develop appropriate workflows in conjunction with the game teams and Core Technology.
5. Train Artists in tool usage and workflows to ensure practices are consistent across the company.
6. Work closely with Animators, Programmers, Character Modellers, Lead Animators and Project Manager to maintain and further develop an efficient production pipeline.
7. To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required.
