Calling all Awesome 2d Contract Comic Writer/Illustrator

Gameloft, a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and consoles, is seeking a 2d Contract Comic Writer/Illustrator to join their existing talent pool creating digital illustration content. Qualified candidates will link up with imaginative design teams to create writing and illustration for digital comic book.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work with the marketing managers to provide a story and a comic inspired by a game
• Create science fiction themed artwork with a modern edge for current project.
• Projects will be aimed at younger audiences, requiring artwork which is both high-quality and appealing to the target demographic.
• Contractor should expect to submit up to 8-10 pages of writing+ illustrations + coloring from now till end of August 2010.

This is a contractor position reporting to Gameloft international marketing teams in Paris. Contractor is expected to have phone meetings when needed.

The project will start immediately and completed by the end of August 2010
