Compelling 3D Interactive Design Consulting Opportunity in Redmond WA

The OEM team currently has a role for a Sr. UX Designer that offers a unique opportunity for a visual designer with advanced experience in Silverlight/Expression Blend for the OEM team. Although the posted job description is defined as a Lead Consultant, the following attributes provide greater insight into this compelling role.

The OEM team is looking for an individual with a dynamic portfolio exhibiting interactive consumer work in either the gaming or mobile space, while understanding user needs and research to help design and troubleshoot prototypes for a compelling consumer interactive design experience. 1) This group offers fast paced 6 month design development cycles with work on HALO/HERO projects involving touch technologies and 3-Screens. You would be directly involved with helping to design the look and feel of applications in regards to interactive cutting edge technologies using Silverlight and then sharing this knowledge with partners to customize the look and feel of the technology.

2) This opportunity would allow you to train and consult with Microsoft OEM partners and develop direct experience with partner facing engagements in a high profile design process.

3) The travel for this role is estimated to be around 25% with the opportunity to work with Asian partners in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and mainland China
