Producer
Description
The Producer manages and oversees the daily operations for a game product, and is responsible for providing overall operational direction and strategy for the product. He or she is responsible for setting and maintaining the launch, update, and maintenance schedule for the game product, depending on the product phase. The Producer must coordinate the efforts of external game developers and partners and other internal departments, including Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, QA, Web, and Development, to ensure that product goals are met in a timely manner. He or she is responsible for understanding game trends and creating content and marketing events to promote and maximize sales of Nexon’s micro-transactions-based game franchises. The Producer will work closely with game developers and game operation team members to manage ongoing projects, distribute work assignments, and train and supervise new production staff. The Producer will report directly to the Associate Managing Producer or Managing Producer, GPD.

Responsibilities:
• Primary duties include scheduling, tracking development, and coordinating cross-functional departments and external developers to ensure that deliverables for a game product are met in a timely manner.
• Provide comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to upper management, keeping them abreast of project progress and major issues.
• Design and execute in-game and web-based content and events to enhance the game experience, maintain usage and increase sales.
• Manage and direct web updates to support game product launch and updates.
• Manage Marketing / Public Relations issues and work with these departments on product launch and content update strategies to increase user base.
• Manage CS and QA issues to maintain quality of the game product and user experience.
• Analyze data and forecast seasonal or special events to maximize micro transactional sales potential in the game. Manage and aggregate game data to keep track of user trends.
• Provide task guidance to Associate/Assistant Producers, Production Assistants, and QA.
• Perform special projects as directed by the Associate Managing Producer or Managing Producer, GPD.
