Sr. Software Developer

Description

General Summary

The Software Developer in Production Technology works closely with artists and Technical Directors to design, develop, and deploy in-house tools to solve production issues and make productions more efficient. This position is specifically focused on workflows for editorial, image processing and production database development.

Essential Job Functions

• Work with internal customers to help define requirements for new tools and develop prototypes.
• Design tools and workflows to integrate editorial with other production departments, to manage assets in the production database, and to support VFX shot work on a stop motion feature film.
• Develop test plans and work with end users of production pipeline tools to improve their usability
• Support applications through documentation, training, and handling questions.
• Help to maintain the development infrastructure and libraries used by other developers
