Position Summary
This position reports to the Digital Production Manager.

Responsibilities
•Work closely with the Art Director, CG Supervisor, and Digital Department Leads to establish the artistic look of the film through lighting and compositing
•Establish lighting workflow and procedures and design solutions and tools to increase productivity
•Create and communicate well thought out lighting direction and shot retakes
•Identify particularly challenging aspects of the movie and propose options, make recommendations and help manage film complexity
•Work with the Digital Department Leads and the CG Supervisor to implement techniques and solve production problems
•Work with Associate Producer to forecast, monitor, and define cost associated with Lighting/comp/render.
•Identify opportunities for efficiencies and propose implementations
•Be highly aware of the budget and schedule impact of technical and creative solutions
•Explain complex CG lighting techniques and approaches to producers and department heads
•Create and manage projects with well thought out steps, milestones, and deadlines
•Assemble and manage an in-house lighting team when necessary
•Light production keys, key art, and production shots when necessary
