Production Supervisor - Animation

Description

The Production Supervisor (Animation) is responsible for the supervision of all processes, procedures, outputs and deliverables for the Animation Department and ensuring the outputs and interactions of animation are aligned with production.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with the Production Manager (Performance) and Production Supervisor (Performance) in maintaining the master animation schedule for production
• Partnership with Animation Director in the set-up and running of the Animation Department
• Distributing animation team schedules and milestones for the Production Coordinators to work with
• Developing processes and procedures for Production Coordinators to report completion, variances and progress of tasks on a day to day basis
• Forecasting delays and shortfalls
• Communication of department targets in line with delivery schedule
• Maintaining task tracking reports for the department
• Accurate and timely communication between Production and relevant Supervisors and Artists
• Supervision of daily Animation Department operations
• Overseeing the coordination of animation dailies and reviews, ensuring accurate notes are taken and all action points are distributed, understood and acted upon
• Creative review attendance and management
• Mentoring and development of Production Coordinators and Assistants
• Administering crew performance reviews with relevant creative supervisors
