The Macefusion team is looking for a world class image scientist to join our technology innovation group focused on rapid development rapid development of image processing, video processing, data storage, advanced display, and simulation systems.

The passionate and innovative Image Scientist can take a concept from initial idea to prototype to functional system, within a team environment, implement and integrate statistical algorithms operating on huge datasets. Provide expertise in various disciplines of mathematics and statistics including: Bayesian belief networks, probability theory, risk assessment, and algorithm performance assessment. Advanced algorithm development to include: decision support, AI learning, graph models, target detection, tracking, identification, exploitation and compression. Ability to design algorithms in numerical software tools: Matlab, Mathematica, ENVI/IDL and transfer to execution codebase in C++/C# and Java using Object Oriented design principles.
Multiple positions are available with differing levels of required supervision/independence.
