I/O Coordinator

Description

ICO VFX has an immediate need for an LA-based I/O coordinator to join our team in North Hollywood.

Our I/O Coordinator will deal with digital assets entering and leaving the facility via electronic and physical media and will support rendering on feature films.

In this entry-level but mission critical role, I/O coordinators have broad interaction with production artists, coordinators, supervisors, technical support leads and clients.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Ingest files from clients
* Prepare submissions and deliveries to clients
* Transfer files between offices
* Monitor servers and escalate problems
* Monitor, manage and keep the render farm running at maximum capacity
* Monitor, manage and check rendered shots, verifying delivery for review screenings
* Maintain rendering priorities and resource allocations for various productions
* Assist artists with render job submissions and errors
