CG Rapid Prototype Modeler

Description

LAIKA/Entertainment is seeking a CG Rapid Prototype Modeler to join our studio for our next stop-motion animated feature film.

A CG Modeler creates characters, props and set models that support the artistic goals and story concepts of the production.

• Create and maintain 3D models for use in production.
• Work with RP leadership and Art Director to realize the aesthetic vision of the production.
• Build replacement face registration, blend shapes and mechanically function models.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the needs of all receiving departments.
• Assist in the development of new tools and techniques to improve the modeling process.
• Meet deadlines as established by RP leadership and Production Management.
• Mentor junior team members if necessary.
