Render Wrangler

There is currently a vacancy in the Render team for the entry-level position of a Render Wrangler. The role offers the successful candidate the potential to advance technical skills, offers experience with state-of-the-art technology and opportunity to learn from specialist digital media colleagues.

Overview
This is a varied role to support the daily activities of a busy Render Department. As a Render Wrangler you would work with a team over seeing activity on the render farm, assisting artists with render issues and controlling the priority of work on the farm. The team are responsible for managing the resources for the current roster of shows, monitoring of renders and image processes, and some data management

Key Accountabilities
• Render queue management.
• Quality control of images, error checking and troubleshooting a wide variety of technical problems.
• Communication with Digital, Feature Production, Data-ops, Data Wranglers, Systems and Render Engineer departments.
• Creating reports for night rendering.
• Disk resource management.
• Scripting tools to automate common tasks and improve work flow.
