3D Story Artist

Description

The Mid-level 3D Story Artist works with other artists under the CG Supervisor as part of a team to pre-visualize CG animated television episodes given direction from Supervising and Episodic Directors.
• Under minimal supervision, use and occasionally create, digital assets including character and backgrounds to interpret a script as visualized by the Supervising and/or Episodic director.
• Provide cinematic pre-visualization of Director's vision by completing layout of 3D animatic level sequences from start to finish using multiple elements based on scripts and input from Director(s).
• Provides other concept artists with underlays and source art created in 3D.
• Tracks shot progress through entire pre-visualization process. Archives all project files, renders, and source images.
• Completes special projects as needed or requested.
