Senior Engineer User Experience

Description

Assist with the conversion of vision into a compelling product that links the goals of the business with product development. Develop the ability to anticipate the expectations of the consumers and balance technical elegance with a rewarding user experience. Understand the capabilities, implications and constraints imposed by the technologies underlying the applications.
Essential Job Functions:
•Work with management to translate visionary inputs into detailed product requirements including discovery and refinement of ripple effect features such as error handling or conflict resolution
•Assist in gap analysis of the visionary critical success factors to product design insuring a smooth transition from vision to product
•Execute the detailed planning of forward thinking product roadmaps within Networking Gaming and contribute to the creation of new roadmaps.
•Continually accept and decipher feedback points into product deliverables
•Vendor support and management as needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
•May be requested to unit test various systems on an as needed basis to insure requirements were met prior to formal testing
•May be called upon to perform market research
•May be called upon to present ideas at tradeshows or interact with customers
•Other duties not described but assigned
