Full-Time Faculty Animation Fall 2010
We seek inspiring artists who will compliment our faculty team and be great mentors for our students. The ideal candidates should be able to teach traditional animation as an art form both technically and aesthetically. Each position will teach 18 credits per year (3 courses per semester). All full-time faculty are expected to pursue research and/or professional engagements that contribute to the educational mission of the department and college.
3D Character Visualization, Animation
The successful candidate will have a strong 2D traditional background, be familiar with history of animation, a personal vision that reflects into his/her own work and teaching philosophy, connections with the animation world, interest for new technology, knowledge of 2D or Stop-motion. The ability to teach 2D or stop-motion intro classes and/or animation history is a plus.
