Crowd Animator Responsibilities:
• Responsible for generating animation cycles for use in crowd simulations, as well as animating background characters in standalone shots.
• Work closely with the Crowds technical team to ensure proper incorporation of animation, as well as provide support and feedback.
• Clean up and refine crowd simulations, and integrate additional animation
• Finish high quality work for Director or Lead approval in a timely manner
Fix Animator Responsibilities:
• Attend animation dailies in order to be familiar with the history of a shot. Review animation renders and attend render check and film dailies to identify problem shots
• On computer workstation, responsible for mechanical as well as aesthetic fixes to finaled work (i.e., intersections, motion blur pops, eye line adjustment, cloth adjustment, lip synch, reanimation and polish)
• May assist the Fix Coordinator to enter notes of adjustments into the Production database
• Communicate with Fix Coordinator and Supervising Animators regarding performance based fix's trends and consistent problems
• Finish work for Director or Supervising Animator approval in a timely manner
